Working with Mi² Mackenzie Innovation Institute, this demonstration room will focus on the Internet of Health Care Things and feature a multimedia guided display, with behind the scenes demonstration of smart hospital elements such as infrastructure, security, mixed with device demonstrations, focused around a "day in the life of" a patient story.
Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS): Digitally Connecting Hospital and Home
HHS is working hard to extend the hospital beyond the four walls of their sites, and bring their expertise to the home setting using digital solutions. This demonstration room will feature HHS solutions that are offering economical ways of improving patient experience, increasing quality, reducing length of stay and closing gaps in care between hospital and community.

We're pleased to collaborate with MEDIC at Mohawk College of Hamilton, Ontario to organize and present "AppAlley" in the Intelligent Health Pavilion. Mohawk College is one of the leaders in mHealth and eHealth development and innovation and sponsors their own conferences every year. AppAlley will be comprised of stands and booths that will exhibit health, wellness, clinical and medical application and devices.

Visit the Innovation Corner to find small enterprises/startups displaying some of the latest products, devices and services for health care professionals from hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities along with the investor community.
i-HOME
In cooperation with the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN), see working demonstrations of solutions deployed today in the IHP two-bedroom demonstration home.
OTN will showcase innovative new models of care in the home by way of the i-HOME Pavilion. Plans for the guided tour of this home feature OTN programs and projects being undertaken with health care partners including:
Home video visits
A health coaching and remote monitoring program for COPD and heart failure
A program that enhances patient access to their family physician virtually
Apps and solutions that support patient self-management in a number of areas including diabetes and mental health
